그림(The林)은 2001년 창단하여 2002년 1집 앨범인 [아침풍경]을 시작으로 2집 앨범 [Pan Project] (2006), 3집 앨범 [Green Circle] (2009), 4집 앨범 [Acoustic Island] (2016)을 발매하였으며, 조선회화 대표적인 수묵화의 회화적 감상을 그림만의 독특한 음악적 언어로 재해석한 5집 앨범 [Black Mood]를 발매한다. [Black Mood]는 수묵의 여섯가지 색(六彩)의 질감을 거침없는 장단풀이와 각 악기 특유의 음색을 살린 농밀한 구성으로 작곡한 흑백(黑白), 농담(濃淡), 건습(乾濕)을 비롯하여, 공재(恭齋) 윤두서의 <자화상>, 겸재(謙齋) 정선의 <박연폭포>, 현재(玄齋) 심사정의 <선유도>, 추사(秋史) 김정희의 <세한도>, 안견의 <몽유도원도>의 감상을 유영하듯 담아낸 앨범이다.
