Renata Suicide is a Korean psychedelic progressive rock band, which was formed in Seoul National University in 2002, composed of Ramhon (vocal/guitars), Banshi (bass) and Parang (drums). Renata Suicide did many concerts in the scene of Korean independent music as a form of rock band, and also organised various collaborations with contemporary theatres and dances in an expanded form of music group.
This album “Renata Suicide” is their first album, composed of 8 songs that the band made and played for a very long time. Especially with the poetic intentionality of the lyrics, these songs contains the essence of the new rock sound mixed with various genres of music, so this album will remain a very important point in the history of Korean rock music.
