Wide Awake는 HOZONE의 첫 콜라보 앨범으로 '방탄소년단, 태연, 트와이스' 작곡가로 유명한 싱어송라이터 Krysta Youngs, Julia Ross가 함께하였다.

아픔을 겪는 모든 이들에게 들려주고 싶은 이야기를 노래로 풀어냈다.



Wide Awake는 기존에 HOZONE이 발매하였던 미니멀 (Minimal Addiction, Life Is A Rhythm), 퓨쳐하우스 (The Future, Love Is On Fire)와는 또 다른 장르의 EDM 곡으로

이번 앨범을 통해 그가 특정 장르에 국한되지 않고, 다양한 색의 음악을 추구함을 알 수 있다.

타이틀곡 'Wide Awake (feat. Krysta Youngs)'는 '방탄소년단, 태연, 트와이스' 작곡가로 유명한 싱어송라이터 Krysta Youngs, Julia Ross가 함께한 EDM 장르의 곡이다.

Krysta Youngs가 직접 피쳐링 아티스트로 참여하였으며, 그녀의 유니크하고 감성을 자극하는 목소리가 인상적이다.


가사는 어려운 상황에 처한 모든 이에게 전하는 내용으로 '현재는 힘들지만, 결국은 아픔을 견뎌내 크게 깨어날 것 (wide awake)' 이라는 희망적 메세지를 얘기한다.
