The Ancient futures, the desire to explore the wide and deep sea,
Yoo Mi Young x Daniel Scheffmann's <Deep Sea, Dreams>
South Korean Cheolhyeongeum player Yoo Mi Young and Danish Guitarist Daniel Scheffmann began their relationship in Denmark in 2013. Meeting on the occasion of the showcase of the Geomungo factory, who participated as an artist at the Roskilde Festival, they share common ground that their respective countries are surrounded by the sea and begin musical exchanges.
The second results, "Nekton" means a creature that swims in water. The term is becoming ambiguous and fragmented as various creatures in the deep sea are discovered. Created by imagining a Nekton in the deep sea, <Deep Sea, Dreams> makes you feel the chill with metallic Cheolhyeongeum and guitar.
I hope you share the secret of the deep sea with your imaginary odd creature.
Deep sea. Dreams.
Bizarre animals without heads or tails twisted and unwound as ribbons waved in a sensual dance. They spewed blue threatening flashes and then elegantly bended as flashing iridescent light.
The mysterious and secret deep sea is no longer a dream but a reality.
The Ancient futures, the desire to explore the wide and deep sea,
<Deep Sea, Dreams> is a musical abyss played by Yoo Mi Young's Cheolhyeongeum and Daniel Scheffmann's guitar.
